Dulux Retail Simply Refresh One Coat Matt paint is a new premium one-coat paint from Dulux that's quicker and easier than ever to apply. The new formula will give you the perfect finish in just one lick of paint. These 30ml tester pots are ideal for choosing a fresh new colour for your walls.

Preparation

Remove loose or flaking material. Make sure the surface is clean (no dirt or grease) and dry. If new, bare and absorbent surface, seal first. If the wall is damaged, repair prior to application.

Application

Always use the colour tester on the actual surface to be painted as surface texture and lighting affect the appearance of the final colour.

• Shake well then remove the cap and the foil tab beneath the roller
• Release the paint by squeezing the base of the tester
• Test on a piece of paper first
• Apply lightly to the wall at a 45° angle
• Paint at least a 20cm x 20cm square to get the best idea of the colour
• When used over dark colours, an extra coat may be needed

Tip: paint in different areas of the room to see the colour in different lights, it's also recommended to check the test patch in both daytime and night-time.
